e-TEX - Internet Banking

Provides 24 hour access to your CVCU accounts from your personal computer.

With a few clicks, you can:
e-TEX• View account balances.
• View loan payment information.
• View recent check clearings, reorder checks and place a stop payment on a check.
• Transfer money between accounts and make loan payments.
• Withdraw funds by requesting that a check be mailed to you.
• Advance money from a line of credit loan to your CVCU checking account.
• View dividends earned on deposit accounts and interest paid on loans.

PRIVACY POLICY


Safe and Secure.
• e-TEX is a secure site provided you maintain confidentiality of your username and password.
• Your username must be between 8-15 characters long, start with a letter, and be unique within the CVCU system. Your password for e-TEX must be exactly 8 characters long and is case sensitive.
• Your browser must be SSL 3.0 (Secure Socket Layer 3.0) compatible. E-TEX has been tested with and will support the following browsers: IE 6.0 with Service Pack 2, Netscape 6.x (all versions), Netscape 7.2, Firefox 5, MAC running Mozilla 1.7.5, and MAC running Netscape 7.2. E-TEX does not operate with the following browsers: AOL, Web TV, MAC running Internet Explorer, or MAC running Safari. E-TEX does not operate with Internet Explorer 7 when using the Windows Vista operating system.
• The browser must be configured to ALWAYS ACCEPT COOKIES for the SSL security feature to work. (The default configuration for all browsers is to accept cookies. Found in the preference settings.)
• When exiting e-TEX always END SESSION to take the cookies off your hard drive.

Easy to Use.
• If you’ve never used e-TEX before, you will need to sign up for e-TEX by calling our office at 715-627-4336. Your accounts will be ready to use e-TEX within minutes of your call.

Once the Credit Union has activated your accounts for e-TEX access, you will then be required to set up a unique user name by clicking on the "No Username? Click here" link. During the set up phase you will be prompted to change your password. Your new password is required to be exactly 8 characters long and is case sensitive.  For added security, every 90 days you should change your password.

 e-TEX Extras.
• To transfer funds between unlike base numbers, the names on each account must be identical, and you must request that we link these accounts for e-TEX access.

• Federal regulations allow up to 6 transfers per month from a share account. Transfers done with e-TEX count towards this limit.

• Requests for check withdrawals will be made payable to the first person on the account and will be mailed the next business day.

• You can change your password in e-TEX by selecting “Other Options” in the e-TEX menu and then “Change your Password.”

• For easy access to e-TEX, make the e-TEX log in page a Bookmark (Netscape) or put in in your Favorites folder (Internet Explorer).
