Steps in Applying for a Mortgage Online
Applying for a mortgage is easy and convenient with CoVantage Credit Union.
To make sure you have the necessary paperwork to submit with your loan, you may
want to print this page.
Step #1
Complete the secure online mortgage application. The form will be automatically
uploaded into our system and reviewed by one of our Mortgage Representatives.
The representative will then telephone or email you with 48 hours to review the
status of your application and let you know whether we need any additional
information.
NOTE: If you prefer to do business with one of our branch offices instead
of our main Antigo Office, please email
us with your preference. Otherwise, if we do not hear from you, we
will assign your loan to be serviced at the branch office that is nearest
to your zip code.

Step #2
Please mail the following to the office of your choice:
For an In-House Loan Application you will need:
- List of all debts, including any Block Grants and co-signed loans, and
indicate any debts to be paid with this loan.
- Your most recent payroll stubs reflecting 1 full month of income & YTD
earnings. (Two years tax returns if self-employed.)
- Real Estate Tax Bills on all real estate now owned. (Taxes must be paid in
full, including postponed taxes at closing.)
- Declaration page of Home Owners Insurance Policy.
If you prefer to bring these items in, please call to arrange an
appointment.

For a Secondary Market Application you will need:
- Last two years W-2s
- Your most recent payroll stubs reflecting 1 full month of income & YTD
earnings. (Two years tax returns if self-employed.)
- Last two months bank statements on all account (Including CoVantage Credit
Union.)
- Most recent statements on stocks owned, cash value of life insurance, 401K
programs, and pension plans.
- Divorce Decree (if receiving child support, documentation of one year of
history.)
- Real Estate Tax Bills on all real estate now owned. (Taxes must be paid in
full, including postponed taxes at closing.)
- Offer to purchase, if buying a house.
- Most recent statements on any loans, credit cards, or debts owing.
- Declaration page of Home Owners Insurance Policy.

take advantage of CoVantage CU's products and services, you must first become a
member. Anyone living or working in Langlade, Forest, Shawano, Menominee,
Marathon, Oconto, Clark, Portage, Wood, Lincoln, Florence, and
Oneida Counties in Wisconsin; and Dickinson and Iron County in Michigan is eligible to

BEFORE APPLYING FOR THIS LOAN: You
promise that everything you have stated in the application is correct to the
best of your knowledge and that the information is a complete listing of all
your debts and obligations. You authorize the Credit Union to obtain credit
reports in connection with the application for credit and for any update,
renewal or extension of the credit received. If you request, the credit union
will tell you the name and address of any credit bureau from which it received a
credit report on you. You understand that it is a federal crime to willfully and
deliberately provide incomplete or incorrect information on loan applications
made to Federal Credit Unions or State Chartered Credit Unions insured by NCUA.
If there are any important changes, you will notify us in writing immediately.
You also agree to notify us of any change in your name, address or employment
within a reasonable time thereafter. |
