Password Tips

Only enter your username and password on CoVantage Credit Union's secure website.  You can verify that our site is secure by checking the url in the browser  (https://www.covantagecu.org/).  There will also be a locked secure padlock in the lower right hand corner of the browser window.

In order to make your e-Tex online banking experience as secure as possible, every 180 days you will be prompted to change your password.

Do's
1.  Do choose a password that is 8 characters long.
2.  Do choose a password that would be difficult for others to figure out.
3.  Do choose a memorable password that is a combination of letters, numbers, and characters.
4.  Do choose a new password from time to time, or if you notice suspicious activity on your account.
5.  Do use different passwords for different accounts including e-Tex and e-Pay.

PRIVACY POLICY

 Don'ts
1.  Don't send your password in an email to CoVantage Credit Union or anyone else.
2.  Don't use a password that is a family member's birthday, name, phone number, or consecutive numbers.
3.  Don't write your password down anywhere.
4.  Don't share your password with anyone.
5.  Don't use the option to save your password when your browser prompts you to do so.
6.  Don't use the same password for multiple accounts including your accounts for e-Tex and e-Pay.
