Our mission is to welcome all regardless of wealth; provide outstanding value and exceptional service; work with members experiencing financial challenge; and remain financially strong.

Our mission provides for our members in a number of ways:

  • You earn market-leading rates on deposits and keep loan rates competitive.

  • You can make bi-weekly or weekly payments on loans, at no additional charge.

  • Most services are offered at either no cost or at a lower cost than our competition.

  • We welcome all and will treat all members and potential members with respect and dignity and treat each in a fair and impartial manner.

  • We work to provide opportunities for the financial education of our members and of the youth and adults in our community to assist them in making wise financial decisions and choices.

  • We stress the importance of financial thrift and strive to assist members during times of financial difficulty and hardship.

The following are a few examples:

$2.5 million was returned to borrowing and saving members last year

There have been two components to our member patronage program: a savings bonus, which provides an additional dividend and is based on total interest earned during the year; and a loan interest rebate, which returns a portion of the interest paid on loans. The loan interest rebate component has been paid to members since 1981. Learn more.

Invested in Technology

At CoVantage, we have been heavily investing in technology for a number of years. Services such as online banking, bill pay, online lending, and mobile banking, are technological improvements we have made, or are in the process of improving or implementing.

Financial Education

Seven area middle schools participate in a savings program called Kidz Credit Union. This program provides financial education to area young people and helps instill wise spending and saving habits at an early age. CVCU covers the cost of this program and provides staff to run the program. Learn more.
