There are two ways to get to this feature:

1.  Go to any account that has a card link (such as checking, savings, line of credit, etc.) and click on Card Management under the account balance details.  There, you will find a list of all your card types displayed on the page under your account, which includes cards for both primary and secondary cardholders.

2. In the Menu accessed through the three horizontal lines in the top-right corner, click on Settings and then Card Management.

After you navigate to the Card Management page and click on a specific card to manage, click on Alerts and Limit by Amount. You will be able to:

  • Enter a dollar amount in which all transactions will be blocked over the designated limit.
  • ​Set a threshold for being alerted when a transaction exceeds a certain dollar amount.
  • In Store: Prevent physical card usage at retail locations.
  • Online Shopping: Block e-commerce transactions.
  • ATM: Restrict cash withdrawals from ATMs.
  • International: Block transactions outside of the US.
  • Mail/Phone Order or Other: Prevent card usage for orders placed via mail or phone.
  • Autopay: Disable recurring payments for subscriptions or services.
If the card is frozen, all types of transactions will be blocked.  However, if only specific transaction types are restricted through set blocking conditions, only those designated transactions will be blocked. 
Click on "Alert Delivery Preferences" in Card Management or click on "Delivery Preferences" once a card is selected to manage.

Notifications can be sent when you use your card:

  • In store: retail locations
  • Online shopping: e-commerce transactions
  • ATM: cash withdrawals from ATMs
  • International: transactions outside of the US
  • Mayl/Phone order or other: ordering via mail or phone
  • Autopay: recurring payments for subscriptions or services

1. From the Card Management page, click the Set Travel Dates button.

2. Add U.S. states or the different countries you will be visiting to ensure your card can be used without interruption while traveling.

To prevent identity theft, our fraud service monitors unusual activity such as card usage in geographic areas that fall outside of typical spending patterns.  If the service detects that the individual using the card might not be the actual cardholder, it may block the transaction.

Make sure you have allowed the MyCoVantage app the ability to send notifications. Here is how you can check your device:

iPhone users:

1. Click the phone’s settings icon.

2. Click Notifications.

3. Tap the MyCoVantage App.

4. Toggle Notifications to Allow Notifications.

Android users:

1. Click the phone’s Settings Icon.

2. Click Apps.

3. Tap the MyCoVantage App.

4. Make sure Notifications are set to Allow.

5. Make sure Permissions are set for Notifications.
