CoVantage Cares Foundation

The impact stretches beyond dollars. The nonprofits that the Cares Foundation supports create hope for those in need and build up our communities to be better places to live and work.

CoVantage Cares

In 2015, CoVantage Credit Union leaders came together with an idea in mind on how to create a greater impact in the communities served by CoVantage Credit Union and the CoVantage Cares Foundation was born. Today, the Foundation has supported hundreds of community groups throughout Wisconsin, Michigan, and Illinois, with a total impact of more than $3.5M. These funds have supported basic needs, financial literacy and education, and community enhancement projects.

Giving Tuesday

Giving Tuesday is a global movement that aims to encourage people to spread generosity through philanthropy taking place every year on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving and Cyber Monday. CoVantage Credit Union and the CoVantage Cares Foundation have been partnering on this campaign since 2016 and are proud of the more than $2.7 million that has been distributed to area nonprofits through it.

At CoVantage, we celebrate for two weeks! Local nonprofits work with their CoVantage branch to fundraise and bring awareness to their organization. Following the last day of the campaign, CoVantage Cares will match total donations by $175K! The 2023 campaign donated $436K to 13 organizations.

2024's Giving Tuesday campaign will run December 3 - 17! Watch our website and Facebook page to learn about the selected receipeints!

Fore Our Communities

The Fore Our Communities Golf Event brings together CoVantage members and supporters for a fun day of golf raising funds to support the CoVantage Cares Foundation quarterly grant program where we distribute funds to non-profit organizations that provide assistance to individuals, especially those experiencing significant financial challenge, and to non-profit organizations working to enhance the quality of life of residents living in the communities served by CoVantage Credit Union.

Donating Qualifies You for Credit Union Membership

Donating to the CoVantage Cares Foundation not only gives you the feel-good experience of giving, it also qualifies you for a credit union membership at CoVantage. This requires a one-time $10 donation,* plus you will be required to make a $10 deposit into a savings account to establish your membership. 100% of your $10 donation goes directly to the CoVantage Cares Foundation. The $10 deposit is yours to withdraw should you decide to cancel your CoVantage membership. Your non-refundable donation to join the foundation and thus become a CoVantage member does not guarantee you will be approved for any requested account, loan, or service.

You also qualify for membership if a donation to CoVantage Cares was made on your behalf.
