I had hoped my first message to you as President & CEO of CoVantage Credit Union would come under different circumstances. Recently, a devastating tornado impacted portions of our Menasha, Appleton, and Neenah communities. Many of our members, neighbors, and local businesses are facing damage to their homes and facilities, disruptions to their lives, and the uncertainty that follows an event like this. Others may have family members, friends, or coworkers who have been affected. Our thoughts are with everyone impacted as our communities begin the recovery process.
Moments like these remind us what it truly means to be CoVantage. Being a member-owned credit union means standing with our members when they need us most. That commitment has guided CoVantage for generations, and it continues to guide every decision we make today.
In response, we have launched a comprehensive storm relief program to support members as they recover and rebuild. This includes special Storm Relief Loans, payment relief for eligible members, and a dedicated storm recovery resource page with information and resources for those impacted. We are also supporting local recovery efforts through a $25,000 donation from the CoVantage Cares Foundation because helping our communities recover is part of who we are.
To everyone affected by these storms, please know that you are not alone. As we have for more than 70 years, CoVantage will always here for our members today and tomorrow.
