CoVantage Cares Foundation will kick off its 10th annual Giving Tuesday fundraising campaign on Tuesday, December 2, continuing a decade-long tradition of supporting nonprofit organizations that strengthen communities across Wisconsin, Illinois, and Michigan. The campaign will run through Tuesday, December 16.

Since its inception, the CoVantage Cares Foundation’s Giving Tuesday initiative has provided funding to more than 80 organizations that uplift communities, promote health and wellness, empower youth, and provide essential resources to those in need.

“This 10th year is a testament to the power of community and compassion,” said Charlie Zanayed, CEO of CoVantage Credit Union and President of the CoVantage Cares Foundation Board. “We’ve seen firsthand how generosity can transform lives. This campaign is more than just giving—it’s about building stronger, more resilient communities together.”

Janel Thoune, SVP Marketing and Mission, added, “CoVantage Credit Union had a long history of supporting non-profits in the communities it served and in this spirit, ten years ago, we planted a seed of hope and started the CoVantage Cares Foundation. Today, that seed has grown into a movement—one that continues to uplift lives across our region. We’re proud of the impact we’ve made and excited for what the next decade will bring.”

To amplify the impact of each donation, the CoVantage Cares Foundation will match every dollar contributed—up to $200,000. Individuals and businesses can participate in the campaign through several convenient methods:
  • In person at any CoVantage branch
  • Via the MyCoVantage mobile app
  • Online at covantagecu.org/givingtuesday
This year’s selected charities and their sponsoring CoVantage branches include: In Wisconsin—Boys and Girls Club of the Northwoods, Inc. in Antigo; Greater Green Bay Habitat for Humanity in DePere and Suamico; Crandon Athletic Booster Club in Crandon; Elcho Area Health Planning Committee in Elcho; Reach Counseling Services in Appleton, Menasha, and Neenah; Good News Project, Inc. in Wausau,

Weston, Rothschild, and Rib Mountain; Meals on Wheels of Stevens Point in Stevens Point and Plover; Northwoods Veterans Homestead in Rhinelander; and Shawano Area United Way, Inc. in Shawano.

Beyond Wisconsin, the campaign also extends its reach to neighboring states, supporting 4 K.I.D.S. Sake in Mokena and New Lenox, Illinois; Iron Area Health Foundation in Iron River and Crystal Falls, Michigan; and Rainbow House Domestic Abuse Services, Inc. in Menominee, Michigan.

Each organization was selected for its commitment to meeting local needs, including youth development, health planning, housing, and support for those affected by domestic abuse. The reach and impact of this initiative continues to grow, thanks to the dedication and generosity of our supporters.
