CoVantage Donates $125,000 to Support Fox Valley Tornado Recovery

As communities across the Fox Valley continue to recover from the devastating tornado, CoVantage Credit Union and the CoVantage Cares Foundation have donated $125,000 to United Way Fox Cities to support individuals and families affected by the storm.

The donation includes $100,000 from CoVantage Credit Union and $25,000 from the CoVantage Cares Foundation.

“Our responsibility to the communities we serve extends well beyond financial services,” said Matt Kaudy, President and CEO of CoVantage Credit Union. “When a community faces a challenge of this magnitude, we have the responsibility to respond. This $125,000 donation reflects our support for the Fox Valley today and our broader commitment to the region’s long-term recovery.”

Providing Immediate Financial Relief

In the aftermath of the tornado, CoVantage made emergency storm loan programs available to help individuals and families with home repairs, temporary housing, transportation and other recovery-related needs. CoVantage teams also worked directly with members and area residents navigating financial challenges and fraud concerns resulting from the storm.

Bringing the Community Together

CoVantage also transformed its annual Menasha community celebration into “Party at the Park with a Purpose,” bringing neighbors together while providing additional assistance to families affected by the tornado.

More than 300 community members attended the event, where 100 families received essential household supplies and additional donated items were distributed to those affected by the storm. The event provided tangible assistance while creating an opportunity for neighbors to reconnect and come together as the region continues its recovery.
