CoVantage Cares

A financial institution that gives away money? That's us. Our CoVantage Cares Foundation contributes to hundreds of organizations that assist the needy and improve the quality of life in our local communities.

At CoVantage, we put our money where our heart is.

At CoVantage, we're not just passionate about providing great financial services. We're also passionate about supporting the Wisconsin and Michigan communities we serve. That's why we contribute thousands of dollars and provide hands-on support to organizations that assist residents facing financial challenges and to efforts to improve the quality of life and long-term viability of our communities through our CoVantage Cares Foundation. Our Foundation Board of Directors awards grants four times a year. It gives priority to organizations and efforts that:

  • Improve the vibrancy and livability of CoVantage communities.
  • Make long-lasting improvements to the quality of life for CoVantage members.
  • Improve financial wellness and financial education for a specific group.
  • Promote the credit union mission of working with members experiencing financial challenge.
  • Use foundation resources wisely while meeting a specific community need.

Giving 2sday Campaign

CoVantage Cares Foundation kicked off a 2-week fund-raising campaign onTuesday, November 28, which has become known nationally as "Giving Tuesday." Funds generated from our Giving 2sday campaign will be matched with up to $125,000 in contributions from CoVantage Cares Foundation, a public 501 (c)(3) organization established by CoVantage Credit Union. Local non-profit organizations to receive funding from this year's campaign were selected by CoVantage staff and are located throughout several communities served by CoVantage Credit Union. 

How you can contribute: 

  • At your local branch by simply making a transfer or a deposit at the teller line.
  • Through MyCoVantage online and mobile banking
  • Over the phone by calling 800-398-2667, OR
  • By mail by downloading this form and returning it with a check payable to "CoVantage Cares Foundation." Be sure to specific which charity your donation should be earmarked for. Thank you for your support!

Application Process

  • A Grant Request Application can be completed by downloading an application. Grant Application Guidelines are also available to download.
  • Completed applications must be submitted either online or by U.S. mail and received no later than 5 p.m. on the first working day of March, June, September, or December.
  • The Foundation Board of Directors meets on a quarterly basis and will consider requests received prior to the above deadlines.
  • Applicants will be notified of the outcome of their application shortly after such Board consideration.

Requests Not Typically Funded

  • Operating expenses, losses, or salaries.
  • Improvements to personal property of an individual.
  • Requests that would primarily benefit individuals.
  • Requests to support individuals or groups outside CoVantage Credit Union's charter area.
